Rand Paul on His Way
With the Holidays upon us, I know it is a hectic time for everyone.
As I write you today, I’m preparing for my swearing-in on January 5 and putting the finishing touches on what will be an aggressive agenda for 2011, beginning with my plan to cut $500 billion from the budget.
And, of course, I will be working closely with my Dad to pass a full-scale Audit of the Fed. In fact, it will be the first bill I introduce in the Senate.
To accomplish our goals, Dad and I are going to need a strong grassroots presence to keep the pressure on.
In Liberty,
Rand

Campaign for Liberty gets ready for new congress
Voices of Liberty — strong ones like Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Justin Amash, and others — will soon be joining Ron Paul to lead the fight in Congress.
Campaign for Liberty is poised to lead the fight from the outside — to bring the strong support of the Liberty movement, the anti-Washington message of the Tea Parties, and the small government message of the country to the battles ahead.
***End the Mandate, which would repeal the unconstitutional law that will force Americans to buy health insurance;
***Defund ObamaCare — with President Obama sure to veto a full repeal, our best chance is to cut every single dime in funding before ObamaCare destroys the rest of our private health system and herds millions more into the government-run machine;
***The Cap and Tax scheme that would drive already sky-high energy costs through the roof, massively hike taxes on hardworking Americans, and give the federal government unprecedented control over the economy;
***Audit the Fed, so the American people can finally see the corruption and economic devastation caused by a handful of bankster bureaucrats;
***Passing Rand Paul’s Balanced Budget Amendment, so politicians can no longer just spend and spend and spend. It is clear Congress will never cut spending unless it is forced to. And Rand’s amendment requires a supermajority to raise taxes and a DECLARED war for any exceptions, so the accounting games will finally end;
***Repeal the PATRIOT Act and stop the new, even more DANGEROUS ID Bill. These atrocious schemes take away our rights in the name of so-called “security.” Our Fourth Amendment rights should not be given away in the name of fighting terrorism. Illegal wiretaps and searches must end now.
To me, all of these fights are so foundational to our freedoms it’s almost like asking which amendment in the Bill of Rights I would like to keep.
