They are delusional. That’s the only word for them.

Today, our two “saviors” are in Nevada.  Barack Obama thinks his election changed the world and Harry Reid thinks he saved the world from an epic depression. He actually said so yesterday.

Barack Obama is in Las Vegas campaigning for Reid today. That’s why I am writing you.

Harry Reid thinks that his economic policies saved us from a world-wide depression.  Because of Harry Reid and his failed leadership, America has a $13 trillion deficit.  Due to Harry Reid’s fiscal irresponsibility, Nevada has a 14% unemployment rate.

We know why President Obama’s here: He’s going to raise campaign cash for Harry Reid and throw nasty attacks at me.

The election is 10 short days away.  That means we only have 10 more days to listen to Harry Reid drone on about how he saved the world.  But we have to push hard if we are going to give Harry Reid the retirement he so richly deserves.  We are so close. Will you help me push through to the finish?

Angle vs Reid 2 More Weeks

If you’ve read the news lately you know that we’ve out-raised Harry Reid. You know that the media has declared us the victor of last weeks’ debate. You know we’ve led in 7 of the last 9 polls. In response, Reid has gotten even nastier and his allies are even more desperate.

We just learned today that two casinos gave $50,000 and $75,000 to a PAC closely affiliated with the Reid campaign. In addition, he received $300,000 and $400,000 from two unions. This PAC has been running nasty ads attacking me for months now. Now we know what Reid’s DC influence has bought him- literally hundreds of thousands of dollars from liberal special interests who are in straight up panic mode that we are about to win this election.

But I have some news that you’ll find even more bizarre. Right after Reid’s debate defeat he went to visit the liberal Las Vegas Sun newspaper. They’ve previously endorsed him and have been largely serving as the mouthpiece of the Reid campaign for well over a year. The night of the debate they had an article headlined “Jon Ralston notes how Reid lost the debate to Angle.” After the meeting with Reid, however, the Sun changed it’s headline to “Thoughts on the Reid-Angle debate.” Apparently Harry Reid thinks he can literally rewrite history- and his allies in the liberal media are helping him do it. As if he all his dirty DC money wasn’t enough, Reid is now getting free support by calling in favors from the Las Vegas Sun.

With that kind of support, I’m confident when I stand at the podium on election night it will be to declare victory for Nevadans. It will be a loud message to the President and Nancy Pelosi that their reign is over and that the American people are taking their country back and want change
